The Professor Optiken Nürburg 8x26 is unlike the name suggests, not only suitable for motor sports events. Our new pocket binoculars are also an ideal companion for any kind of events and leisure activities, on vacation trips and hikes or for nature and bird watching. But the Nürburg is also very well suited for hunting applications, for example as a low-priced stalking binocular.

Compared to the Hockenheim series, the Nürburg 8x26 impresses with the use of a more powerful optical system, a higher field of view and the use of a robust aluminum housing. Despite the aluminum housing, the Nürburg 8x26 weighs only 317 grams. This makes it not only extremely light, but also so compact that it fits in almost any pocket, no matter how small.

The optics are equipped with Porro prisms made of barium crown glass (BaK-4) and fully coated lenses. Despite its small size, the compact Nürburg 8x26 impresses with its high-contrast, sharp-contour image reproduction. The focus adjustment is smooth and allows fast focus control up to close range. The field of view of the Nürburg 8x26 is a very solid 121 meters. The micro bridge ensures that the binoculars are grippy and comfortable to hold.

The eye cups of the Nürburg series have a Z-lock and thus an additional center position. The black rubber armoring is not only particularly non-slip, but also manufactured particularly resistant. The Nürburg 8x26 is filled with nitrogen and is absolutely waterproof. A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up. Like all binoculars from Professor Optiken, the Nürburg 8x26 also has a tripod connection.
