The Professor Optiken flicker tube for our 50 mm target optics reduces the solar reflection and thus the glare of the lens. In addition to the reduced solar radiation, undesirable background lighting and light incidence are also noticeably reduced - this is particularly advantageous for shots at long distances. In addition, the lens hood also provides effective protection for the objective lens, significantly reducing the build-up of dust, dirt and raindrops on the lens.

The flicker tube is made of black anodized duralaluminium. Thanks to the screw thread, assembly is completed in a few seconds. The flicker tube has a length of 10 cm and fits all 50 mm Professor Optiken aiming optics.
