Product information
The Professor Optiken Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED is an ultra-light and compact spotting scope with a very high-quality optical system. Weighing just under 500 grams, this powerhouse features multi-coated optics with state-of-the-art ED (extra-low dispersion) glass and BAK4 Porro prisms. This ensures brilliant image reproduction with sharp and extremely crisp images.
The Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED was developed as a universal spotting scope for hunting, sport shooters, but also for recreational use and ornithologists. At low magnification, the spotting scope can still be used at dusk - at full magnification, even the finest details in the distance can be seen. The low close-up distance of about 2 metres also enables the observation of insects.
The spotting scope has a robust design - all moving parts are made of metal. The neoprene protective cover included in the scope of delivery guarantees reliable protection against knocks and falls. The metal eyecup can be unscrewed, so the spotting scope can be used with or without glasses. The Zugspitze 8-24x50 ED is filled with nitrogen and is absolutely waterproof. A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up. Like all binoculars from Professor Optiken, our first spotting scope in the range has a tripod connection.
