The Staffelsee 2-12x50 LD is ideal for stalking and raised hide hunting. In addition, the compact target optic is also very well suited for use with night and thermal imaging. However, the light output of the 50mm objective alone also allows twilight and night stalking. The newly developed LD coating with low dispersion not only reduces discolouration at the edge of objects (chromatic aberration), but also achieves very good resolution with high-contrast and true-colour image reproduction.

The Staffelsee series from Professor Optiken does not compromise on quality despite its comparatively low price. The Staffelsee 2-12x50 LD has a reticle 4 with centred illuminated dot in the 2nd image plane, whereby the illuminated dot can be adjusted in eleven illumination levels. Two battery covers are included for the side battery compartment - one version with and one without our distinctive logo.

The aiming optic has been designed to be absolutely robust - all moving parts including the adjustment turrets have been made of metal. The housing with 30 mm centre tube diameter is also made of high-strength duraluminium. Our target optics have been tested on all common calibres, so that we can guarantee 100 % shot resistance. The Staffelsee 2-12x50 LD is filled with nitrogen and is absolutely waterproof (IP protection class IP6X). A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up.
