The HIKMICRO Thunder TQ35C 3.0 Clip-On is the successor to the popular TQ35C 2.0. Compared to its predecessor, the thermal imaging camera has a new Shutterless Image System (HSIS), which means that no manual calibration is required. The magnesium housing of the thermal imaging device is compact and robust.
The excellent image quality you expect from HIKMICRO is achieved by the new 640 x 512 pixel VOx sensor in conjunction with a 35 mm objective lens (pixel pitch of 12 µm) and a sensitivity of < 15 mK. The Thunder 3.0 also has the new image processing algorithm Image Pro 2.0, which optimizes the image details. The thermal image is shown on an OLED HD display (resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 pixels). There are 6 color palettes to choose from: red, white, black, red monochrome, green monochrome and full color. The image can be focused manually, with a focus wheel now installed on top for this purpose.
In addition to the usual functions, such as a WiFi hotspot function and a photo and video recording function, the Thunder 3.0 has recoil-controlled video storage. This means that the device continuously records a video. As soon as a shot is fired, the device saves the 7 seconds before and 7 seconds after the shot. This means that every shot is recorded. You can then use these recordings to narrow down any follow-up search. In addition, the attachment now offers up to 5 storage spaces for correction profiles. The correction values can now also be set via the Sight app. It can therefore be used on multiple lenses without any problems.
The Hikmicro Thunder TQ35C 3.0 now has a new battery replacement system. The device is powered by a Li-Ion battery pack. The scope of delivery includes a battery pack that has a capacity of 4400 mAh. This allows the device to be used for up to 6 hours per battery. Alternatively, the camera can be charged or operated using a standard power bank and a USB-C cable. So you are well equipped.
