The Professor Optiken Westerwald ProV 50 (ThermTec Cyclops 650 Pro) has a new powerful VOx detector which, in combination with the 50 mm manually focusable objective lens, allows a detection range of up to 2,500 m. The Westerwald ProV 50 is a compact and powerful companion. The Westerwald ProV 50 is a compact and powerful companion and is suitable for both field sites and long-distance observation.
The latest generation VOx detector has 640 x 512 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. The OLED colour display with 1,024 x 768 pixels is large enough to show details when observing and responding. Image transmission is absolutely smooth thanks to the 50 Hertz frame rate. The Westerwald ProV 50 (Cyclops 650 Pro) is equipped with 3x optical magnification and a digital, continuously variable 6x zoom, whereby the lens focus can be adjusted manually. The integrated AI rangefinder, based on a special learning algorithm, can automatically identify up to 6 animals and humans and display the estimated distance directly in operation. In addition, you can be notified via the app when an object enters the camera's field of view. You will receive a message on your terminal device with the estimated distance and whether it is a human or an animal. You can also set whether this notification should be with an acoustic signal, vibration or silent.
Of course, the thermal imager has the standard viewing modes that allow you to view heat sources - black, white, red, green, purple and gold. Modes that you do not need can be deactivated in the menu. The video image can be transmitted to Android or IOS devices via the 2-way WLAN function (existing mobile phone connection of the end device is maintained) or to suitable end devices via the supplied USB cable and recorded. In addition, the Westerwald ProV 50 (Cyclops 650 Pro) has an integrated memory (16 GB) for photo and video recordings.
The Westerwald ProV 50 (Cyclops 650 Pro) is robustly manufactured, waterproof and protected against dust (IP protection class: IP 67). The thermal imaging optics have a ¼ inch tripod connection. The integrated lithium-ion battery also has a runtime of up to 12 hours due to the new detector and can be conveniently charged with the supplied USB cable. In addition, the device can be intuitively controlled via a one-button operation.
