Rusan's modular clamp adapter allows thermal imaging and night vision attachments to be connected to a day optic. The adapter is available in different diameters so that almost any optic can be connected to the lens on the device. The Rusan MAR (Modular Adapter Repeatability) features a novel two-part locking system. The main adapter can remain permanently on the lens. There is a device-specific connector for the attachment. The two components are connected in seconds by means of a bayonet lock. This design achieves very high repeatability with high precision. In addition, this precise locking system allows the same thermal imaging attachment to be used on multiple optics.
The adapter itself is made of high-strength aluminum, and all moving parts are made of hardened steel. The inner surface of the adapter is provided with a special coating, this protects your optics and also provides the necessary grip.
