The BASIS Aimpoint Micro mounting rail is needed to connect reflex sights from Aimpoint (or other manufacturers with the same mount) to the mount. The mounting rail fits the models H1 and H2 as well as T1 and T2. Your reflex sight is attached directly to the mounting rail. This mounting solution allows you to switch between different target optics quickly and easily. The BASIS mounting rail is made of robust duraluminium.
How does the DENTLER mounting system work?
All target optics from Professor Optiken are optionally available with the DENTLER mounting system. The two-part system consists of a BASIS base rail for the rifle and a BASIS mounting rail for the respective optic. The two-part system connects the target optic and the rifle securely and with 100 % reproducibility. Once adjusted, the mounting rail always locks onto the base rail with the same torque and without play. Another advantage of the mounting system is that several target optics can be used easily and safely on the rifle. With the BASIS VARIO base rail, different target optics can also be mounted on different weapons.
