The infrared brightener - Hunsrück IR 850 is an cost-effective and powerful companion for the use of night vision devices. The brightener has a wavelength of 847 nm and is therefore not perceptible by game even at short distances. The powerful double heterostructure LED has an output of 40 mW and provides illumination distances of up to 450 m. The Hunsrück IR 850 can of course be used with all common amplifier tubes.
The divergent IR beam can be focused from 5 to 100 degrees and its direction can be adjusted. The intensity of the IR beam can be adjusted manually with a rotary switch, the respective illumination level is indicated by a micro-light-emitting diode. The Hunsrück IR 850 has a mount for the Weaver or Picatinny rail and dovetail mounts and can thus be mounted on night vision devices or target optics with a few simple steps.
The ergonomic housing is made of robust duralaluminium. This makes the infrared illuminator not only bulletproof, but also waterproof. Please observe the safety instructions when handling infrared illuminators, as long direct eye contact can lead to injuries.
