The InfiRay Zoom ZH50 is the first to offer optical zoom in a thermal imager of its size. The Zoom ZH50 includes two lenses (25 mm and 50 mm) which you can change by turning the focus ring. You benefit from the wide angle of the 25 mm lens and can zoom in optically if needed and use the long range of the 50 mm lens. This camera can therefore be used for several applications. On the one hand for large-area searching and tracking and on the other hand as a device to track animals at a great distance.
The thermal imaging camera is equipped with the latest VOx detector which has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels with a 12 µm pixel pitch. The sensitivity of the detector detects temperature differences as low as ≤ 25 mk (NETD), making it significantly more sensitive than many detectors on other devices. The thermal image displayed on a high-resolution AMOLED display (1440x1080 pixels).
The Zoom has all the usual features of the upper class. The Zoom ZH50 has a WLAN module. This allows you to transfer the thermal image to your mobile device via app. You can store your photos and videos on the device (32 GB internal memory). In addition, the device now has a stadiametric rangefinder,a picture-in-picture function, an altitude sensor and a digital compass.
The Zoom ZH50 features a new battery replacement system. The unit is powered by a Li-Ion battery pack. Two battery packs are included, each with a capacity of 4400 mAh. Alternatively, the camera can be charged or powered via a standard powerbank and USB-C cable. These allow the device to be used for up to 10h per battery. That way, you're well equipped. In addition, the batteries can also be charged in the device via the USB-C interface on the go with a powerbank.
