The HIKMICRO Thunder TQ35C 2.0 Clip-On is the revised version of the popular TQ35C. Compared to its predecessor, the thermal imaging camera has a fixed collimator on an M52 thread. This means that a reducing ring is no longer necessary. The magnesium housing of the thermal imager is compact and robust.
The excellent image quality that you have come to expect from HIKMICRO is produced by the new 640 x 512 pixel VOx sensor in combination with a 35 mm objective lens (pixel pitch of 12 µm) and a sensitivity of < 20 mK. The thermal image is displayed on an OLED HD display (resolution: 1,024 x 768 pixels). Four colour palettes are available: red, white, black and full colour. The image can be focussed manually, whereby a focus wheel is now installed at the top.
In addition to the usual functions, such as WLAN hotspot function and a photo and video recording function, the Thunder 2.0 has a recoil-controlled video recording function. This means that the device continuously records a video. As soon as a shot is fired, the unit records the 7 seconds before and 7 seconds after the shot. This means that every shot is recorded. With these recordings you can then also narrow down a possible follow-up search. In addition, the attachment now offers up to 5 memory locations for correction profiles. It can therefore be used on several optics without any problems.
The Hikmicro Thunder TQ35C 2.0 now has a new battery exchange system. The device is powered by a Li-Ion battery pack. Two battery packs are included, each with a capacity of 4000 mAh. Alternatively, the camera can be charged or powered via a standard powerbank and USB-C cable. These allow the device to be used for up to 6.5 hours per battery. So you are well equipped. In addition, the usability has been revised. The device has freely programmable keys and a freely programmable speed dial key.
